Dr. Allan is currently a clinical psychologist in California who is dedicated to providing comprehensive assessment and treatment services for individuals with challenges related to adoption, trauma, learning difficulties, attentional challenges, substance abuse, motivational difficulties, and poor adjustment (anxiety, depression, irritability). Dr. Allan is also the assistant training director at One Neuro where she plays an integral role in coordinating the academic and clinical components of the advanced doctoral and postdoctoral neuropsychology and clinical psychology training programs.
Dr. Allan received her masters and doctoral degrees from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (MSPP), now William James College, in Newton, M.A. She completed her internship training at The Help Group in Sherman Oaks, C.A. where she provided individual counseling sessions for students with Learning Disorders at Summit View School. Additionally, while at The Help Group, Dr. Allan also provided in-home, outpatient therapy for children and their families and conducted comprehensive psychological assessments. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at WestCoast Children’s Clinic (WCCC) in Oakland, C.A. where she focused on providing comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological assessments for children and adolescents based on the Therapeutic Collaborative Model. While at WCCC, Dr. Allan served clients from Alameda and San Francisco Counties, many of who were also involved in the foster care system and had experienced extensive, complex trauma.
